If you grant permission, Myomap reads data from Apple Health — your weight, sleep, heart data, and activity — to size your nutrition and training targets and to adapt suggestions to your recovery. With your permission it also writes your logged workouts, classes, calorie burn, and weight back to Apple Health so they appear in the Fitness app and your rings. This data stays on your device and in your Apple Health, under your control. Health data is never used for advertising and is never transmitted to us. You can revoke access anytime in the Health app.
The camera is used only when you choose to scan a food barcode or a nutrition label. Images are processed on-device and are not stored or transmitted.
If you enable weigh-in reminders, Myomap schedules local notifications on your device. No information is sent anywhere.
When you search for a food or scan a barcode, the search term or barcode is sent to Open Food Facts (openfoodfacts.org) to return nutrition results. This request is a standard product lookup; it is not linked to your identity, and results are not retained by us. Food data is provided under the Open Database License.
Meal estimates use Apple's on-device Foundation Models where available. Your description is processed on your device and is not sent to us or to Apple's servers for this feature.
Myomap is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
